If I'm selling the blue car I'm gonna need a daily. I can't think of a more plush daily than an audi wagon on bags. And if I'm gonna build a drift car, I'm gonna build a track car, not some half assed daily drifter bullshit, so that's out. I can build a shitty cheap drift car whenever. I just hate the blue car and want something bigger.

everyone has their differences...i like audi's more than vw's. although both of wills cars were cool. i just dont see the point of taking loans out on cars when your in school & your current is already built by you and paid for.

bags are nice to daily though. my cousins bimmer wagon was very plush on bags

If I sell the blue car I would only be paying off about 2-3K. Not bad for a car that's newer with less miles, and is all around more luxurious than my current car. I hardly have any expenses as is so it would get paid off pretty quickly.

Disagree. It will never be the same to me as my black one was. I should have never bought another 20th. Sure this one looks cool, but it's just not the same. Plus, I've wanted a wagon since forever.

well dismantle it & sell it first. it would suck to not be able to sell it for what you want & then being stuck w/payments for longer than you want

Like what, for example? The only other wagon I was considering is the e39 5 series. I prefer the way the b6 looks though. All cars break if you don't take care of them, especially euro cars.

I can't speak for experience with the E39, but a lot of the stuff that fails on the B6 isn't so much to do with lack of maintenence. for example: engine mounts, upper link bushings, trans output shaft seal, every oil seal in rapid succession under the hood, dipstick tube, fuel pump, ignition coils, breather hoses because all the oil seals fail so quickly all the time it's hard to keep the engine from puking oil on everything. that and the genius idea to give A4 1.8Ts a bastardized oil pickup compared to transverse 1.8Ts. that's just off the top of my head. I'd say CV boots but that's standard for slammage so it becomes moot. this of course doesn't even begin with how fast the interior falls apart, they just seem to be fragile.

personally I'd look hard at the E39, or if you were bold, slam a Volvo. a dropped V70 would look gangster.

if you do get the Audi though, I got a boatload of factory Audi technical literature you could have. makes great toilet reading.

i like the audi too, but i just remember everyone saying everything on them is ass backwards.

like practically removing the core support just to do an alternator. to me just seems doomed to fail from the get go.

i usually just like to factor issues like in before i purchase. but in the end its your choice, still a cool car.

3.0 isn't bad...AFAIK there isn't shit though if you want to mod it. honestly though the most solid rides are B6/B7 S4s. a black B7 S4 Avant is a sick fucking car (so are the blue ones with matching blue and black alcantara interior)
