so im riding my bike on the more mesa trails. come up behind some girl jogging, and the trail is just wide enough for me to ride by. she was wearing headphones so i figured she wouldnt hear it if i let her know i was passing, so i just go for it. i come up on her left with enough room, and start to go around, not wanting to seem like a creeper just hanging out behind her. just as im gonna get along side her, she decides to turn around and looks right at me with shear rape terror face. she screamed and said sorry and i almost fell off my bike i was laughing so hard.

i will say, i had a damn'd good time last nite. hangin w/my chevy head friends after i got off work. went to another friends bday party & drank some island brew...while listening to some people jam out reggae beats. but then...my friend hendricks who was too drunk to drive as well as my other friends says, stan lets go in your yank-mobile back to my house & get the chevinator & cruz that thing around a bit & then roll to the afterparty. i was down. its a 77 chevy 250 shortbed 2dr thats lifted on 35" boggers. it has a nasty sounding little bored over 350 w/some headers & 2.5 pipe to twin 60 series flowmasters. but the damn thing has a 3500rpm stall converter in it. so you can basically throw little rev's up to about 2000rpm & it only loads the converter & you dont move... it was a handful to drive, but having that signature american sound under my right foot put such a huge smile on my face. i cant wait to get started with my v8 build, this last nite really pumped me up more to do it
