i have a white one that i bought some time last year. I still don't know if its going on the x7 or on my daily. can't beat the price either ! !
i might have to cut the counter sunk bolts that it came with because they are too long for the NRG quick release. along with not being able to find a smaller size with a matching thread pitch

why has the forum been so slow lately?
I'd assume because it is/was holiday season and everyones on winter break. So instead of surfing this forum during class or while they're doing homework, they are out and about. I've been spending hella time with my family, so I've only been able to check forums really late at night(some odd time in the morning). But they just left and are headed back to Washington

I really need to start working on my car again. fuck.

I think he means less people have been posting. Forum speed is fine. I know the holiday season is what caused me to reduce my posting lately.

So, I have found a white fc for sale, VERY cheap, and it looks like its in really good shape, but the catch is, the guy is selling it with the engine unassembled..He says the car was running great before taking the engine out, but what I think is weird, is that if it was running, why did he take it a part? and why cant he put it back together?
I mean, is the engine that hard to put back together? I never did assemble an engine, so...It would be my first time doing such a thing.
And are parts expensive?
Captain
Jan 3 2011, 11:10 PM
^it has a rotary motor, that might be why he didnt get it back together. ive seen one disassembled and they really dont look that hard to put back together. just make sure the apex seals and what not are good. or rebuild the motor while its out.
edit: and parts are expensive if you dont know what you are getting lol do some research, ive heard rebuild kits for the turboed 13b are expensive but a rebuild for the not turbo 13b arnt and are the same kits....or maybe it was the 12b that was cheaper lol idk do some research!

How I wanna sell my car for the most amount of money and then buy something cool and hook it up.
BUT that won't happen so I'll just get something cool and keep it stock.
Options include:
89-92 Supra
90-96 300ZX
92-97 Mazda Miata
02' Maxima (This one is my brother in laws 6speed 3.5 liter car. I really like it.)
Anyways, Wish me luck on selling my car

If you get one, get a 93 (for it's 1.6) or a 94 (for it's 1.8) whichever you're looking into getting.

I dunno if those wheels really fit the e30. by fit I mean I dont think they match the car visually.
I don't think those wheels look good on almost any car except a miata ( and one particular s14).
but either way its up to you.
on another note :
Guess I'm spending the rest of the day sanding my engine bay. But I'm feelin kind of lazy on my day off. haha.

Is it just me or do most Miata owners go for either 13" wheels or 15" wheels, but rarely go for 14" wheels? Is there any particular reason? I like 14s over 13s and 15s personally haha

Yeah I wanna get a 94 if anything, I want the 1.8 version. a little torque never hurt anyone, hahah.
On another note, just spent 25 bucks getting my car washed and I just hand waxed it. looks so shiny.
