I'd love a VR. Right now I'd prefer a tdi, vr comes in close second and if I can't find either I guess I'd go 1.8t again. Andy found me a nice 4dr tdi with a 5 speed so we'll see how that goes. I really want a 24v VR but most of them are slightly out of my price range of what I want to spend. I'm stealing my 20th lips and coils and spacers and great plates and strut caps and intake and yarrowsport bar at the very least. I want to buy it back but my parents don't want a smashed un-movable car sitting in the driveway for months.

Turns out I'm not getting any money for my car and I Don't get a say in whether or not we buy it back. My dad is being a giant douche about this whole situation. Everything I say seems to be a point to argue.

and now im contemplating on parting out my cressida and the entire swap. Along with selling anything that i own that has to do with cars. and giving most of the money( if not all of it) to my mom.

my mom & step dad are going through real tough times right now up in WA. pretty much ever since the economy went to shit. my 3 little sisters are too young to understand the situation, but my older sister and i both know whats up.

I would give up everything to ensure my mom and sisters are happy and taken care of.

1 wheel broke, 1 is pretty badly bent and curbed but the other 2 are fine. i'm just going to let them go with the car. I don't really care about that.

I more wanted to keep my interior, my brushed aluminum shit, my lip kit and wing. I might be looking at a couple 20ths and 337s so I might just part with the whole car. I'm super over fighting and just want something to drive that I'll enjoy. I wanted a tdi or vr as I said before but the only way to quell my dad's rage seems to buying another 20th rather than making my own "pseudo 20th". I really only want a 20th again if I can find one in BMP, but every one I've found has been yellow and a couple blue ones.

I hear ya. If you're interested, let me know if you need a ride to pick up some of your stuff, you could store it in my garage for the mean time. If not, that's a lot of good stuff that I would hate to see go to waste.

Here is one way look at it:

Get a TDI or VR6 (that's what would make you more happy) and when you move out, get the 20th stuff that makes the car look sexy (even more happy).
If you absolutely have to get a 20th, get one and spite your parents by doing everything over again with a smile and go even bigger.
