I avoid them like the black plague. First time I went over one, I went over straight, and scraped the shit out of the bottom of my frame. Some driveways I won't even go up and I don't have a lip or kit or anything. I got practice doing it now, but it cost me an APEXi N1 exhaust, a cat and 2 front bumpers.

Take that shizz MAD sideways (across the entire thing)
Or just hit that shit straight on because other than a
great exhaust note, nothing sounds better than a solid
scrape fest.
Maybe that's just me...

I also have NOTHING to get messed up under my car.
Motor in the back, everything's tucked. w00t.

my isis dual n1 doesnt like speed bumps. when i was maxed out w/one collar dropped up front i only had an inch of clearance where the huge resonator is. but it only scrapes a lil bit if i can take it to the left sideways. i cant wait to see how my bug is gonna scrape

How do you guys deal with speed bumps?
oil pan side goes up first, then driver side. if reasonable height. If over my reasonable height-spec. Park somewhere before. Walk.
if speedbumps are asphalt, i pour gas on it. And let other people smooth it. Then I can go into that complex.

I'll see if I can snag a pic of my pan next time I attempt to
crawl under my car...or when its in the air. Same shit.
I took out like 6 road dots about 20 minutes ago...

Videos of when we put the drop spindles on. I think I attacked a speed bump...

Hah, I remember the day I dropped my car. I live in a complex and there's speed bumps all around it, but there's this mound of death that I bottomed out when my car was stock height...it's the quickest way to my house, but now I have to go all the way round my complex which means I have to go over 5 sets of speed bumps because I got beached when I attempted to go over the mound of death. My mudflaps rub every time I go over speed bumps. puts a big smile on my face every morning.

i had an awesome scrape fest the other nite. it was 2am and me and friend of mine were coming back from Jbox & he's like "this ways faster to get to the parking lot" there were 3 big ass speed bumps inbetween 2 houses w/about a 1-1/2 car width strip. i took it sideways but it was no use, my exhaust is like an inch or so off the ground, it made the most amazing noises

Avoid at all costs. If one must encounter a speed bump, angle is your friend. Try getting one wheel over at a time. Keeping all wheels on the ground is essential so as to not get stuck on said speed bump.
Or
Rule #5
Slamburglars don't get stuck on speedbumps, speedbumps get stuck on slamburglars.

Look at the expressions of the people near by and listen as the frame rails/tranny/exhaust piping drag across slowly
then just look at them and smile

no speed bump but my girlfriend lives in town, and their is usually like sidewalk openings that are lower to the ground that everyone uses to pull out into the road.. i was like that looks like i can i do it.. ill just scrape my exhaust itll be fine.
nope, i got frame rails/cat/downpipe all stuck on sidewalk, so my girlfriend got out and sat on my drive side wheel(on the trunk) and i just raped my way across the sidewalk into the road.
it was AWESOME!

I believe this is why I want mudflaps. Yes, even tho my car is higher now that I have bigger rims, the frame still scrapes seeing as the underbody is lower than my car makes it look - but it doesn't scrape enough.
Also, I remember when I rode with Jon and he purposely scraped his way across Tanforan's plateau speedbumps =_____----

i didn't purposely do it. its the cooler way into the lot. remember last year when we met up with Jan, Kenny, and Leslie at Fatlace's old paddock before HF6? going up to the gate and we unexpectedly almost got stuck? haha. that was a great day

I don't know how you guys deal with lane dots, those things are effin monstrous and they're everywhere! It's like a minefield. Good thing we have recessed lane markers where I live, lane changes are drama free :-), well after you make it over the crown.
Speed bumps suck too, but luckily enough any new ones usually get destroyed by plows after the first snowfall every year

haha, timed lane changes!
I have to either put my car in neutral or time my shift with changing lanes just so I don't hit them. I took out like three in a row with my crossmember going through an intersection with a bump in it lmao!

Lol, In canada we dont have lane dots, So I was always so confused as to why they were such a problem. I know now why. I Drove to seattle and I was having to dodge in and out of the lanes just timing it right haha. They're fucking AWEFUL.
+10000000 for recessed lane reflectors.
