Anyone else here ride? i think i saw some mention of it.

Heres Reese:

Dustin
I wanna build a road bike, but definitely not a fixie, i just like being able to coast hahah.

I do ride bmx though. Nice color scheme goin on there
Zach
Beautiful bike sir,

here's my KHS, converted to fixed.

The Professor
I ride a shitty kilo. I have no photos of it because it's just that shitty. I forgot how to ride a bike with gears and as soon as I start to coast, I think something is broken.

I like your bike a lot, Stephen. More info?
Stephen
Nice Zach!

and, dustin, its not that bad. Id throw a freewheel on my bike but itd need a new flip flop hub and brakes.. so i probably wont for a while haha

Its a cheap SE lager frame, a bikeisland special. But its all cromo and i dont mind it.
Then a carbon raliegh fork,
some velocity deep Vs,
sugino seatpost , Selle italia Flite saddle
some truvativ cranks made into a single
The bar pictured is an njs nitto b123aa, with some champ grips
mks pedals

thats about all the important stuff i think
Ivan the Terrible
got a nice bike that i was gonna make a fixed

my bike is an olmo frame and time cf forks and durace cranks and rolf rear wheel and cool hipster handle bars courtesy of dylan till i get some cool drops

Stephen
Haha, that bar looks pretty short.

i really like the way b123s drops look but they arent cheap or practical. ill roll around with risers most of the time because of it
The Professor
I prefer drops, myself. I ride around with a flat bar from time to time, but it's not as comfortable. Maybe risers would be a better call. I was actually looking at some used b123s about a month ago, but I never got around to buying them.
nastmz
I wanna turn this into a fixie at some point:

1979 Schwinn World Sport
That's my pimpin' Magnaflow muffler behind it that I'm gonna put on it to get an extra 300hp.
Jeembo
I ride this quite frequently:

well i like drops dont get me wrong, but b123s are curved in such a way that you cant use the top very well

Nothing crazy like what you guys have, but i like it. lol

Just a quick mock-up. I didn't want a bunch of parts laying in the living room anymore.
It's about 75% done biggrin.gif
Tedmund
My bmx is in my room covered in dirty clothes. It's a very sad sight. I'd like to get a fixed gear this summer and ride around town.

diLLy

wonpoo
its ugly...but i ride everyday....

generic bullshiit....

krammitthefrog
i have 19 too many gears and 1 too many freehubs to be considered fixed.

on a side note, I love the sram stuff. went with a full rival gruppo aside from the crank and cassette, which are apex for long touring.
wonpoo
my knee is finally recovering from injury so ill be riding around my city more often. shoot gotta inflate my tires.
Elegant Company
Not sure if there is a name for this, but there was this chubby hipster girl attempting to ride her fixed gear backwards in a circle. guess she though she was cool showing off infront of the L train i was on. sure enough she got maybe 3 quarters of a circle and dropped the shit out of the bike. ahahahaha. she hit the ground sooooo hard, it got everyones attention. what did she do? get up and act hella casual n shit like that didnt fucking hurt. then she just stuck to balancing in place. LOL.
EhrikETFG
the balancing in place is called a track stand lol idk what she was doing
wonpoo
Was she trying to do this???

s14rob
just got myself a new camera first thing shot was my bike.
VYKTR
Nice Mercier Rob. Ill post up my Leader as soon as I take pics. A good photo shoot is long overdue for that bike :-)

it is. i want the '11 725 frame real bad.
SkinnyRoadster
Just picked this up from my aunt, was my late uncles and hasnt moved in 20 years. Its a 70s(74 I believe) Coventry Eagle. Plan to do a flipflop hub as I need to be able to coast(commute to work on it), ditch the front brake, and guards, and new bars.....or a different style of grip or tape. Might get a new saddle as the leathers a little torn, but undecided as its kinda sweet.
