Full Version: assembling the basics for the BBQ (official list)

So, as many of you know, me and Harry live in a tiny studio; therefore no BBQ grill, therefore no BBQ equipment. In order to avoid a last minute rush, and forgetting stuff, lets assemble a list of basic equipment. Then lets figure out who can bring it.

Equipment/ supplies= stuff we dont want to buy the night before because people may have it and they can be expensive

1: grill(s) just as a planned backup since it costs $500 to reserve the bbq pit at the park. As long as nobody reserves the pit its first come first serve, and as of right now its still available. I plan on getting to the park super early to stake the spot out as long as nobody reserves it, but its good to have a planned backup.
2: spatulas, flippers, aka stuff for cooking the burgers.
3. coolers for the drinks
4. lawn chairs and extra lawn chairs for the homie who forgot one
5....feel free to chime in
6. Chopping board for preparring meat

FOOD
food stuff i figured we can all chip in and get it the night before
1: burgers
2: burgers
3: sodas
4: cheeps
5: Cheese
6: ketchup
7: mayo
8: mustard
9: seasoning
10: onions pickles lettuce tomatoes
11:charcoal
12: plenty of garbage bags
13: cups/plates/napkins
14: utensils

Is there anything im forgetting?
deolio
i have my gas bbq that i can possibly bring
stan
i'll bring my dads homemade seasoning, some santa cruz market nuclear chicken, and tortillas
mk3f.t.w.
all right. well i will call the place the day before you come down max, and if nobody has reserved by then we should be all good. If not, then its nice to know you have one you could bring. And Stan...coming through with that home brew and home made seasoning killing it.
AngelsAndBombs
I got hot dogs, cheeeeps, beer(?).
mk3f.t.w.
mmm not sure if beer is allowed. I really dont care, but i dont want us getting in trouble. I am assuming people are going to bring beer no matter what. From my view point, if people keep it low key im not going to trip, i just dont people to ruin it for us. I also am not going to promote it...

so who has coolers and grilling utensils
AngelsAndBombs
Agreed. I have a cooler I can bring as long as Maxs lady drives the truck also.
mk3f.t.w.
So,

Angel= cooler
Max=back up grill
any more supplies or more coolers? Ivan? will? birdman?
AngelsAndBombs
I MIGHT have a few coolers, i'll double check and bring a few. Im sure we'll need more than one.
kfed
Wow even Birdman is coming, Kevin??
AngelsAndBombs
Crawling down the stairs face first Part II?
mk3f.t.w.
