Not sure but since it's not a car i thought it had to be offtopic...

Anyways, ive been riding this in 2012

1997 Suzuki Bandit 600, frame cut, full respray RAL Verkehrsgrau B (traffic grey, that's the color they use for the rear of all traffic signs haha), single seat tail, carbon exhaust, superbike handle bar, Polisport MX headlight.

Now the time has come to move on. Hello Emma.

Yamaha R6, 120hp at 11.500rpm laugh.gif
1 owner, SUPER clean, runs like a champ, 11.000 kilometers on the clock.

She'll be getting a similiar treatment as the Suzuki. I hate red vehicles so i'm going for a full respray. Color will be grey again with a black fender and gold stickers. Im thinking grigio telesto from Lamborghini

or something like this. Unfortunatly FMU hides the exact color they used...

If you guys know of any other nice grey paint colors let me know smile.gif

Cheers!

looks like fun. was that other bike a winter build?
G535
Yeah, both bikes are nice to ride but handle completely different. The Suzuki already had the frame cut and different tail but was all red including the frame and had an awful headlight and other stuff. So i just changed a few bits here and there, did a respray and some maintenance. I wouldnt really call it a build.
I know the previous owner who had it built by some motorsports guy and it was a steal smile.gif Just the right bike to get into motocycles again...

I really enjoy good bike builds. Especially naked bikes.
G535
Honestly i'm not really into real builds when it comes to bikes. That's what i like about the car scene...the enthusiast and dedicaition thing.

But i will definitely keep this updated wink.gif

The paint arrived today. I decided to go with something lighter than the Lamborghini telesto grey.

And how it's supposed to look when painted and clear coated

are your spraying the paint?
G535
I'm still learning. My buddy (he's a professional painter) will paint most of the parts as i'm aiming for a 100% professional result - but i guess i'll spray the tail and fender and easy stuff myself.
Im already quite good with spray cans but using a gun is different.

Stuff from last year

harry
nice color!

I finally got everything painted. We've had some trouble due to poor paint work the previous owner did to the tail sleep.gif

I'm really happy with how the paint came out all in all. Still need to get rid of these huge turns and fit the facelift tailskirt.

That turned out amazing!!! Better than new!

Thanks smile.gif

I took some more pics and finally ditched the nasty amber turnsignals for some tiny black ones. I also got myself some proper gloves that match the bike biggrin.gif

The tailskirt is now facelift with a different taillight!
