im down. treasure island is a good idea. do we have to reserve the lot or fill out any waivers? well..... zackery, last year we met up in the wekfest parking lot and watched the roll in. you could have chilled with us and went to go get breakfast burritos with us. shoot i even got some vip action and got to see most of the show before it opened and then we all rolled out. OR if you were in town you could have met up with us the day before.

Alrighty so Kevin and I were able to check out the spots we had in mind at Treasure Island a couple weekends ago. We definitely narrowed it down, but I want the spot to be a group decision. Once we can all agree on a spot, I'll go ahead and start the Official thread to get everything organized.

First off both of these lots are right next to each other and the bbq pit is in the same general area.

For starters this is the main road you will be driving on to get to either lot.



next is the bbq pit area. We can actually reserve this area ahead of time so that we own it for that day.





yes the view from where we will be chillin is amazing(to say the least).

alright next we have the entrance to Lot #1

From the entrance you turn left and viola. lot #2 where most meets usually take place.

daaaaang that's badass! i definitely like the closeness of lot 1. i can't really tell how bad the entrance is though.

Its actually not bad at all. the worst lot is the one right where the bbq area is. that little lot is fucked. but both of the ones i posted are legit. the entrance to lot #2 is damn near perfect. haha. Lot #1 entrance does have some spots that you have to watch out for, but I'm sure we'll have people guiding everyone in.

What we do need though is maybe a banner or flag of some sort so people know immediately what lot to pull into as they're coming down the road.

too bad i'm not coming to this years event, seems to be a lot more organized already. last year's was a cluster fuck

So Kevin and I were throwing around the idea of not having the bbq on the same day as wekfest. We can still stunt 101 at the marina and get some breakfast burritos the day of wekfest. Maybe we can do the bbq the same weekend?

I just want us to figure out a date so we can start getting serious with the planning.

Maybe we need to find out what day wekfest actually is, then plan a day. My car is going to be in Wekfest so plan it around me.
