So here's the long version of the story as to why I should win. I bought my car with my own cash and started sliding at the age of 16, all on my own cash. Not a dime from my parents or family. I've done about 8 or 9 events now all on a stock KA, because it's all I can afford. I have this crazy, and probably childish/immature dream of one day getting to Formula D. But it's not gonna happen on a stock KA. So I've been thinking long and hard about which way to go and I decided on a KA-t setup for now. The big thing I have going for me right now is my young age, but I can't keep that for too long LOL. So I figure I have to act on it fast. At the same time there's another kid in the area who is 16(nothing against him, he's a cool kid and can drive), and he slides an RB hatch that his dad funded, and I only assumes his dad pays for most everything. It really bums me out when I go to an event and I can't drive because I either don't have the money for tires/gas/entry or my car just isn't running because I don't have the money to fix it, or I don't have a way to get my car to the track because it's not reg'd/insured because I can't afford it and I see this 16 year old kid out killing it on the track without a worry because his dad payed for it all. I feel like I'm falling behind and it sucks because I know there's nothing I can do about it. I work as many hours possible at my job and it's just not enough. So much shit went wrong with my car in the past month and I have so many personal issues going on right now(got cheated on/not graduating on time/parents are breaking my balls/etc) that I'm about ready to throw in the towel. Instead I decided to just stop spending all of my money for a few months which means no sliding or having any fun at all, so that I can hopefully piece together another budget KA-t setup and throw it on so I can improve my driving. Drifting means a lot to me and I want to keep doing it so bad but it's gotten really hard to keep at it. Winning the Enjuku cash would help speed up my car's down time and help give me a shot at just maybe going somewhere with all of this. Thanks guys! I'm sick of my KA. It seems like the more money I throw at it the more it fucks me over. So I'm planning on pulling it and going over everything with it out of the car and putting together a KA-t setup. And I know this shit isn't gonna be cheap =/
