Well today we rolled my 240 fenders and mounted my wheels, and when i was backing out of my friends driveway i heard the wireharness rubbing in the left well, and pieces of the tape came from under my car. So I pulled back in and we looked, and it's rubbing bad.

It was getting late so he let me take is 1Jz FC home ! tongue.gif tongue.gif

But back to the point .. Is there anything i can do to that harness other than rerouting it? We put a ziptie but I guess it wasn't enough, and I don't want to raise my car up higher. Any thoughts on this?! Thanks !

Uh, reroute it. This is the first thing that any S-chassis owner should do. Either into the engine bay or up higher in the fender well.

You could tuck it up higher into the fender. But that's just gonna be a shit ton of problems/headaches. It's much easier and painless to un bolt it from inside the car and pull it out, then route it through the engine bay and back down. All you need is a dremel to widen the triangular whole on the wheel well.

So it shouldn't take long to do?

Not as long as you know what you're doing
