A friend of mine came up here for a few days to stay with me from Myrtle Beach. Yesterday she went to go get some food and when she tried to drive the car, it would not let her go over 2000rpm, and the CEL, ESP light, an TC light all came on. TC light is flashing.

Car will not go over 10 mph, even if you floor it.

Replaced the CPS and un hooked the battery for a while, then hooked it back up and it drove fine for 5 minutes then when she tried to accelerate, car did the same thing.

Help? She lives in MB, and has to work tomorrow. =/

Anything anyone can help me with would be GREATLY appreciated.

What kind of car? Sounds like the trac. control is going crazy. Depending on the year make and model, if there is now different size tires on the vehicle it will do this exact thing. Were any wheels/tires installed recently? Is one tire excessively low? Anything that will cause the rolling diameter of any of the tires to be different can cause this because the car thinks its constantly doing a burn out lol.

Can't help if we don't know what car your friend drives.
