So now that I have my new radiator, its time to decide what fans to run and how to run them. my questions are :
1. Would I be better off with 2 medium sized e-fans or a single large fan?
2. is there a difference in efficiency with having the fans push rather than pull?
3. which would you suggest? (from question 2)
I have quite a bit of space between the pulley's and the core so running some e fans in the back isn't an issue. But I was also thinking of running the fans in the front in between the rad and intercooler for a cleaner look.
Just looking for some opinions.
thanks dudes.

Imo, 2 fans.
Push if you have no space, which you do. I would still do push, in between the fmic and rad for that cleaner look.

I ran pusher fans and it kept temps well below 158 degrees. I'd run em during runs on all the time at balcony and it never ran over 165 in 100+degree weather, if I ran em off my temps went up into the 189-195 range.
I rather run pusher after running them for a year and have a few events uner my belt in WSIR track heat.

i actually had the exact same question.
Would 2x 10" fans moving 1,000 cfm each really be better than say, a single 16" that moves 2100cfm?

pushing work better if your parked. i'd do pullers.
no space for a clutch fan?

Well eventually i plan to upgrade to a larger radiator, so i much rather stick with e-fans.

I am running 2 e-fans on my 86. They are pulling air through. I was running 1 fan for a bit till we hit over 100 here in Sacramento and the temp started to climb so I added a Miata e-fan and the temp hasn't climbed past half when I am stuck in traffic for over an hour. I ordered some gauges so I will know what temp I am running.
