Just to put that time into perspective vs RWD.
BMW M1 record laptime: 8:15seconds
BMW M3 record laptime: 8:05seconds

You cannot help but be impressed. Even if it is from some shitty French manufacturer.

Best part is.. Its a turbo brick underneath all that french painting..

I think what makes it even better is that the new BMW M5 managed a 7:55. Sure it's 12 full seconds, which is a lot in racing, but the new M5 has 560 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque vs the 265hp Renault.

I'm sure weight and driver are a huge factor but major props to Renault for showing the world that FWD doesn't have to suck so hard.
