Well as some of you already know they opened up another local venue for drifting. This time its at infineon Raceway, and the drifting portion is from 4-10pm.

Participant fee - $80
Spectator fee - $10 per person (which also counts for parking)

ATTENTION ! THIS JUST IN! !

SONOMA DRIFT PARTY - Drift & Car Show event @ Infineon Raceway. August 13 & 14. from 8am to 6pm (saturday and sunday) on-site camping allowed!

Drift at Infineon Raceway's world famous road course for two days! we will be using turns 3, 3a, 4 & 5!

-this event will be a competition based drift event and we are giving away prizes!!

-driver registration fee is only $200 for TWO DAYS! (mandatory 2 day entry, no single or half day allowed)

-spectator only pays $15 for each day. that includes admission to the Drift, Drag and Car show on sunday!

-limit of 40 cars in drift competition. each car must have a 6 point roll cage.

-we will have cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. $1,000 (1st) $400 (2nd) $200 (3rd)

-there will be TEAM TANDEM COMPETITION powered by NOS!

-Team Tandem winners will have prizes from NOS Energy Drink. (prizes TBA)

-Car Show entry is only $25!!

I was soo down up until I saw 6 point rollcage required.... Maybe ill enter the show.

you can still do one of the regular wednesday events! ! maybe we can plan it so that there is a thunderdrift and sonoma drift event within the same week, and you guys can head up here?

I don't see any s-chassis for $141, hombre.
I will make it up there someday, the Danger Ranger isn't much of a drift machine.

hahaha you should see my buddy's danger ranger. cut front springs, bowed rear springs, and welded diff. it's a beast to drift.

It does lay some sikkk burnouts.
Totally impressed those Junior high chicks, yo.

Wednesday night drift tomorrow ! ! ! !

i can't go this week

ended up not going either heard they changed the layout and the overall turn out improved. damnit. haha.

who's going this week? if anyone from sac wants to drive don with me i'm heading out around 1.

I should be going tomorrow, and i went last week too. totally forgot to upload some vids from that event.

yeah the actual layout was pretty boring. everytime that white s14 ran or lead during a tandem he did it his own way which is the layout in the video. ahaha. and everyone just followed the leader. if i have patience to wait for another upload i'll post a couple more.lol


most of the vids i have are of that white s14 because it sounded the best and his driving was the most consistent. I have some others of Marks s14 because it looks and sounds amazing. ahaha

I heard its only 40$ to drive now. I'll be driving in a week or two. I'll also be shooting at the summer Jam Event.

Did you use to have 7 series wheels on you Z? If so I've seen you out there. Defiantly puting it down. I might have some pictures on my Flickr.
