I just wanted to introduce myself since i was reading here for a while now and thought it was time to show what i bought this week.
First, im a 21 yo guy from frankfurt in germany and love everything about cars
actually im driving an opel astra wagon, which looks like this (not mine, got no pic of it. mine is white)



but thats a piece of shit i got from my dad and i sell it asap

the ride im gonna restore and slam and whats gonna be driven by my girlfriend is that fantastic volkswagen polo 86c :







i cleaned shortly after taking those pics, but still needs a lot of love to get it where i want it... the biggest problem is to pass "TÜV" in 2 months, which means the car must be in very good shape or i wont be allowed to drive it... germany sucks in that point..

maybe in the next weeks there will be a little build thread to show the cars status if anyone is interested

in germany your car has to be checked every 2 years.. they check every security related functions + if the car is rusty + if you built anything on the car thats not legal like rims coilovers or engineparts that have no homologation for the car... very complicated and older-car-unfriendly

so until january i need to weld the rocker panel and completely remove the undercoating, remove rust and do new undercoating, fix some motor bugs and replace almost every part of the suspension (which is luckily not to much, very simple construction )

wow nice come up on the wheels? are they centras? period perfect. i like the polo and welcome. i also like the wagon. dont sell it. slam that too! i love my wagon and my hatch.

yes, thats centras, the guy i bought them from told me they were from an opel manta and maybe like 25 years old... who cares, i like the look and they fit
more updates will come in a few days, when the car gets his license plate and i can drive it to the garage...
