Asking for some advise.I have some diamond racing wheels which are currently stretched. The fronts are 15x8 +0 with 196-60-15, the rear are 15x10 +0 with 225-50-15.I want more of a stretch but nothing too aggresive. What would you advise. Also can any alignment shop do my alignment even thought I have camber plates
PotatoSparkles
I'm rockin 205/50-15's on 15x10's

personally I think 225/50-15 looks perfect on 10's, but that's just me.

I think if you find certain super laid back shop to do it if you're slammed and wayyy out of spec lol
Batman
Your stretch does look might good to me though.I'll take a pic in the morning how it looks now
Batman

kfed
That's beefier than Randy Savage himself.
Juice
that is one mean sidewall.
Batman
Now you see why I want more of a stretch
kfed
Sell the tires, and buy new ones.

Fronts I would go 185/45/15

Rears I would go 205/45/15

Good luck.

took the words right out of my mouth.

do you know the offsets on your wheels?

looks like 205/50 or 55s would look good in the rear. it would definitely help with clearance. remember you're going to have to lower the car more wink.gif

hmm for the fronts i would say keep the width but lower the sidwall to maybe 50s. is your front camber maxed out? there are a couple of guys on zilvia with DRW's, i'll try and find their post to help with your tire size decision.

Here are some

http://zilvia.net/f/wheels-tires/339978-fs...-new-tires.html

http://zilvia.net/f/chat/164056-phatty-4-l...-thread-17.html (scroll down)

theyre rockin 10s all around, the rear offsets look similar to yours. 45 may be a tad to small, but you can see the clearance is better. 205/50s like i originally said would be good.

BTW i am not a fan on that coupe what so ever, just trying to help you out.lol.

in the end man it really comes down to what you want to do. more stretch+smaller sidewall= wheel gap(unless you plan to go lower). if you dont want to slam your shit consider more stretch with taller sidewalls.

one more

You guys are right, I live in a small world.. Pewp.
Batman
I'm buying new tires and want more of a stretch, the camber upfront is not maxed out I will be having that taken care of as soon as I can find a shop down here that can do it, don't really want to lower it anymore because the frame rails are like a inch and a half off the ground, its a 0 offset all around. that coupe looks a true slammer though lol,
OldMajor
im running 165/45 on a 15x8 and 195/45 on 15x10? haha that would create mad wheel gap on a 240 though, when i had my s13 i had planned on putting 195/60r15's on 10's but 205/50's looks really good too.
Batman
Yea I got em stretched and I guess i'm like one of the only people where I live that has stretched tires because it gets alot of attention now
mk3f.t.w.
i would like to see some pictures. i really hope there inst any wheel well gap or ground clearance wink.gif keep up the work! maybe make a build thread if your going to be doing more updates.
Batman
Yea I will get the pictures up soon. Now I'm looking for ruca seeing as how I will need to go lower now.I've been looking at isis, wicked tuning and megan.Any reviews?
Batman

Batman
So now its time for the front tires. 15x8 +0 what tire do you recommend so I can be flush all around
kfed
15's look so small on s13's unsure.gif
Batman
I'm hoping that will all change when I get it lowered
krammitthefrog
they will still look small. about the smallest i can stand on s13's is 16's and they have to be old school like oni's or something. other than that 17's or bigger

true dat
stan
i saw a hatch on the webs once that was rockin 15" hoshino's & was slammed to the ground. looked pretty good to me, but it prob had some fat spacers. but yes, if you go small...you have to go old school w/some rare pimp shit =)
Batman
Honestly I've had the wheels for awhile and now they have grown on me so I'm going to keep em.Now I need to stretch the front ones and slam it. I was thinking about a 164/45/15. Its a 15x8x0
PotatoSparkles
kfed has taller tires than that on his miater, and they're small as shit as it is lol

stretching that small of a tire on a 240 would really look dumb, just get some 195/50's or 205/50's and be good with it
Martino
15's can be done correctly.

Exhibit A

One of our locals old cars.
Batman
Yea those are my rims and I just want to get these tires stretches already so my car can be ready for winter here in Florida
krammitthefrog
just look how much cooler old school 16's look though:
kfed
This guy^
Goon360
Or dont stretch them and have super cool drag car status
Batman
So the 195/50?
Goon360
get these wheels lol

Martino
I forgot what size tire this was, but my buddy stretched it on his BRAND new 18" PF-01's.
I THINK they we're 10.5"?? I can't remember.

We had a drift event that day, I got there late, he had already done this. Broken bead sad.gif

sideways5hitbox
personally i'd ditch the 15's on S chassis and go with something like a 17X9+15 in the front and 17X10 +20 in the rear with 215/40 or 45 and 225/45 on the rear if you're KA

anything less would be uncivilized.

No offense but drifting of diamond racing wheels on a 240 is like drifting a corolla.

couldnt have said it better myself

and yeah drifting on stretched tires will possibly pop loose beads and you can destroy stuff. thats why people kinda realized retarded big stretches were useless. stuff where you can see the inside of the bead is freakin dangerous. and to be honest, i'd be more scared driving that on the street than at the track. at least at the track you dont have a freeway full of cars coming at you.
Batman
Never said I was drifting
krammitthefrog
well the assumption with low s13's is that you are going to do some sort of spirited driving. they have a great suspension design, why not utilize it?

what are the plans with it?
sideways5hitbox
lemme rephrase that.... any steelies or 15's on a 240 is like hub caps on a honda

PS enkie light weight rims are not known for their stremph, but forged wheels are. Thus go buy forged mono block wheels if you're scared. If not then DEAL WITH IT.

The end.

this thread is being locked until everyone cools down, you guys kind drifted away from what the OP wants. if you Ian and Robbie have problems take it to pm among yourselves, like all of us here have said, we made this forum to be hate free and are here to help people be low or fix their cars. opinions are fine but when it starts to get heated theres a problem and it should be taken to pms not blasted in someones thread.

im cleaning the thread up and you guys can take it to pm and ill re open this thread later tonight or tomorrow morning.
