here we go again! im doing this event and so is stan so i thought why not take over the event and get a bunch of friends to sign up and have a good time sliding. tell everyone you know that drifts or likes drifting to come and have a good time grilling burgers. im pretty sure if you bring an un opened toy to the event its cheaper than 85 bucks for you drive.

the plan is leave saturday at like 6 get there before 10 so that we can grill burgers, drink beer and have a grand ol time. so come on lets over run the event full of slamburglars and friends! [:

I think both Ian and Ivan influenced me to go to Balcony, if this is the correct event (lol) .. I may go, whether or not I'll be sliding is a different story. I don't have any idea on how to bring my spares.

Ian, since I'm driving, I'll be bringing NO gear. Only stuff to slide with, last thing I need is all my camera gear getting jacked.

I bring camera gear every time and it stays relatively unattended and I've had no problems. This isn't some shady down town la drift session. No one is going to steal your camera dood. Plus I'm not going to be sliding so it could chill in my car if need be.

AHHHH I dont think the cars going to be ready. Haltech ECU is giving me some problems so car hasnt started yet. Then still need to break the bitch in. Well see how it goes already have tires.

do you guys have a track you always go to for events that allow drifting??
its hard to find spots and find out how to contact people in an autox driven state...

How much is it for spectators? Free 99?

okay heres the lo down, for spectators/camper outers with us.

track entrance is 10 dollars for both days if you come a day before with us or 10 at the door day off. you can park in the paddocks with us as long as their room for you and yoru not in the way of the cars driving. if you are camping out with us bring sleeping bags and maybe a tent since we dont know if the big house thing will be open or not. bring lots and lots of warm blankets and cloths to endure the cold at night and in the morning. theres an event the saturday before our planned event on sunday so if you get their early you can enjoy that. we here in SB dont plan to leave till 6 since some of us work till 5 saturday. if there isnt any traffic we should arrive at the track at 8:30 or 9 that night.

I'm hoping all I have to do to my car is change my fluids and check everything under the car and she'll be ready to go

dress warm, its gonna be cold as fucking balls out there. also bring shorts as it may heat up to some insane temperature during the day.

I've been watching the temps and it peaks at 65 degrees for the highest during the day. Not saying its gonna be cold but be prepared for it

I bet it's going to be in the freezing temps at night. Someone should bring a fire pit and wood haha.

thats why i named it drift party, its literally gonna be a party. i will bring my fire pit and torch some how, so some one bring fire wood. we will need it for the awesomeness that will ensue that night.
