So after last night at Sears (Habit) i for one am quite frustrated that we are no longer allowed to be there...
I dunno if Ivan was planning on sending in that letter... but in the meantime we should get a "New" place to meet up
or atleast have a place we can use as a substitute for a while...
feel free to throw out ideas even if its a bit out of the way.
So far iv tought of a few:

- Far side of Gelsons Parking lot (mentioned by kevin k.) *but no real cheep food around*
- On top of one of the CC lots... (not all of us have passes though)
- Where LCL was held on Ledbetter
- Some where on the mesa...
- Butterfly Beach

Throw up some ideas guys... keep in mind we still wanna be able to mess around/scooter/skate.

i was gona write a letter up and turn it into that security station.

not butterfly, theres enough fuzz there to cause another problem, cc lower lots have nothing close to eat.

we should just meet at the LOT since the cops cant bug us there.

ehh i doubt we can do it at the lot bro... every tuesday at 7pm Ollies dad wouldnt have that for one second...

they don't care, but when the mall complains to them about us, they have to do something.

i think 5 points would be perfect. near the edge by "big 5". there is plenty of food there and that edge lot is secluded enough where we can still chill and skate and what not, yet near everything. Also, its not far from our sears spot so it wouldnt be too different.

I'm not down for paying the city to park.... even if it does enhance our fireworks show each year.

Ledbetter (LCL area):
There are no speedbumps.
It's well lit.
No food though, would have to caravan to a nearby restaurant.

Gelsons:
Speedbumps.
It's well lit.
Lot's of cheap food in the area.
Plently of parking.

Mesa area:
Everything has huge speedbumps.
It's well lit.
Lot's of cheap food in the area.
Plently of parking.

Denny's on upper-state:
There are no speedbumps
Not the best of lighting.
Super Grand Slamburglar-wiches
Plently of parking

Butterfly Beach:
No lighting.
Some speedbumps.
No food in the area.
No parking without getting harassed.

Top of CC lots:
Good lighting.
Huge speedbumps unless we go straight and decide on a lot.
No food in the area.
Parking would be an issue with other students cars. But I don't think you need permits after a certain time, or at least you stop getting checked afterhours.

Lower CC lots (tennis courts):
Bad lighting.
No speedbumps.
No food in the area.
Parking would be an issue with other students cars. Plenty of parking after about 9:00. No permits needed.

... really no other places I could think of that would be ideal...

i dont know why or whatever happened to bring this on, but it sucks. i say just meet at in-n-out for now. most of you guys go there after anyway.

Yeah, by the actual beach itself, there are none.
There are some in the area on the way to it, just depends on which exit you take.

Hince why I put "some" ... but afaik, the lighting is pretty atrocious in that area anyway.

it like what happened before. mall security called the cops and said they asked us to leave several times before. the cops show up assuming we have been asked to leave, but really nobody ever asked us at all. i dont know what mall employee is lying to their boss saying they talked to us but its really dumb. anyway the nice thing about our own spot is sometimes it feels like we have to share in and out. we definitely couldnt ride a scooter or skate there

kavin what are you talking about of course we can skate and scoot there cotter and i do it every time almost... yeah its not lit very well but it still a place where it seems okay and noone will give up shit.
i mean for next week atleast lets just meet at in n out till we figure where else we can meet...

We're not going to be able to skate legally in any parking lot in SB. Everyone has security and/or cops patrol through them. The places we can skate will usually have shit lighting so hanging out would be pretty lame.

I vote write the letter, then go hang out at sears but don't skate.

so i think a few of us are in agreement to use the side lot at "big 5"? plenty of food around. no speed bumps. close to the old area. we can at least try it out.

ill see how i liek it. the idea sounds good but i think nothing will feel as right as sears did...
