K, Phil just told me we're going to be in the Downtown LA area for the shoot around 3-4 .. anytime before/after that, we're free to do w/e. In the morn, Phil wants to check out sevenstock (some big rx7 meet). We were going to check out HIN, but we're too poor for that. lol

Don't forget to call the City of LA and get a photo permit. You need permission to take photos within the city limit. If you get caught taking photos within the city limits without a permit, the cops with personally show up and watch you pack up and drive away.

The story:
We were in LA on a photoshoot for my brother in laws 240z with a photographer from Arizona. 3 older officers on bikes showed up (we were in the art district where many photo shoots happen), then biked near us and made a call over the walkies about our location then biked away. Then 3 rookies showed up 2 minutes later and told us to pack up and leave. They stayed to ensure that we would leave, then they contacted the station and informed them that our group had been warned. As we drove off, they biked away.

At least the rookies we cool enough to ask us questions about my brother in laws car. But overall, we had a pretty unique spot that I wish we would have gotten more shots at.
