Hey, I just signed up for a month of carfax reports starting today. Let me know if you want one done...

JUST AN FYI: I have been uploading these to my Google Drive so I can share them with you. Unfortunately, that's cluttering my drive... SO! At the end of the month I am going to purge all of the Carfax reports that are done on there. I recommend that you download yours and copy it twice to have it handy (That is a $40 document). Just a heads up. Also, if you are afraid of other people getting a hold of your Carfax (I don't know why you would be, but some people are paranoid), I assure you that the way I share it with you is a direct link to my Google Drive that is only seen by whomever gets the link that I share and that would be you!

So, it looks like I only get 5 VIN checks. If you could send the license plate instead I can do that for you. Thank you. kfed, I got the report for the car with vin ending in 0. If you could send me the plate number on the other car I can get right on that. I will try to pm you the results but I may need your email because it is a pdf file.

Yep. It's unlimited for plates but you only get 5 vin checks. It's stupid.

I've even sent some carfaxes to some random people on craigslist out of boredom haha.

Edit: Harry, I PM'd you. kfed, can you send me the other info? If you still want me to run that plate of course.

^seems legit

Also, Derek can you do my car? My car is weird and has a mysterious history. She's a Canadian immigrant, eh? Pretty sure my plates are exposed and readable in my thread.

Got it, gracias. It was was bought from Canada new just to be imported and auctioned. Confused as why this was done as this car is nothing really special, probably cause it was a special "launch edition" for Canada. Basically a base model with heated seats. That's it. Whole in the side of the block when I got it is still a mystery.

Some cars come from weird places. I forgot what I looked up, but it was a USDM car that came from somewhere in Europe. And then BMW's come from Germany.

I will post this in the original post as well. Redundancy is good because redundancy is good.

Pm me the plate and I'll run it. I'm out of vins. They limit how many vins you can run to keep dealerships buying the dealership subscription.

Was it just the head gasket or was other maintenance done as well? If it was done alongside other maintenance, then I'd say it was just a cautious owner. If it randomly was replaced, then I would be a little curious as to why, but I wouldn't give it too much thought...
