Ok so I just picked up a set of wheels for a stupid low price, I couldn't pass these up or I'd regret it everyday. Plus I miss having REAL wheels, since I traded my old car,

Wheels; Work Vskf
Size; Front 17x9.5 +0, Rear 17x10 -6

These are the most aggressive wheel sizes I've owned, and I will make them fit my stock body 240 haha shouldnt be bad though.

Anyways the guy I picked them hit a curb sliding his car, and cracked/folded one of the lips on my front, it's pretty bad, and not sure if it's even repairable. If not I'm hoping if I can atleast get a new lip. These are three piece, but the lip is welded to the barrels.

I've been guided to vrwheels, and was reading up on their site, and see they sell lips, also do repairs.

Has anyone delt with them before, or is there other sites I could try?

Pics will be up in a min.

ouchy. I personally dont think thats going to be repairable in the sense that they'll straight and weld it. I think that will require machining off the lip and welding a new one on?

But still being that, any wheel shop, VRwheels, CZwheels, Wheelflip, Memoryfab, etc. can do that for you.

Figured it's beyond mangled haha, but you think this wheel in general is savable?

send memoryfab a message with pics. they have taken car of my wheels and done a great job, and after seeing the stuff in the shop im sure they can take car of that wheel. Harry damaged his old SSR's prety badly and rotiform made it look like new.

Having them straightened and all that stuff might be more expensive than a new lip...

+1 For Memoryfab and for Wheelflip.

I had my 3 Piece Veilsides relipped at wheelflip, and then when I cracked the wheel Memoryfab resealed it. You will definitely need a new outer lip for your wheel though. That is totally toast. Fortunately you only need one piece!

Yeah! Like I said. Give them a call, send them a pic, etc then you'll know for sure and know how much. Harry's ssr had the lips barrels and face all welded together since old school ssr 3 piece are like that, so he had to get the lip fixed if he didn't want to buy a new wheel

Heres how my wheels looked and came out.

And Rotiform did not do the work, but I brought the wheels to them and they found a guy that did the work.

Cost was around $100-$120 i think.

Ahh been emailing some companies to compare prices, and cz was the only one to respond so far, and they hit me back the next day. Maybe going with them ! I'm excited to get these mounted on my car, should look so sick, still need tires though, and more cash haha.

I've never had ANY issues with VRWheels. They know their wheels inside and out, and stock A LOT of parts for Work, SSR, etc. So they may be cable to get the KF in and out of there. I'm currently waiting on my new set to be back from them, and they're doing a bit of custom work to them.

How long did they say the process would take? Just curious.

My wheels are getting a full rebuild, being converted from 2 piece welded to 3-piece, and getting polsihed. They've been waiting for my rear lips ( they're not produced regularly at the factory as they're larger then 6". ) and it's been about 3 weeks, they'll be done in about 2.

A lip for your KF will most likely be in stock and ready to slap on the wheel.
