Well I'm having a bit of a problem with the drop on my car ..
My passengers side noticeably tucks more than my drivers side ! It's really annoying .. At first I thought maybe through fender jugs needed to be adjusted, so my buddy, anni tried messing with it for an hour .. still nothing ! My fronts are maxed, with collars removed, so I'm positive it's not a measurement thing. Also it seems like the passenger side wheel is sticking out a bit more than my drivers. Car has always been like this since I first got it, and it really bugs me. Could it be an alignment thing, or possibility preload thing? Any thoughts on this? Thanks ! |

![]() Directly from the front ! Very noticable .. Maybe the rack is shifted more one way making it look off from the sides? Under my car is pretty much f*cked haha. Framy rails are dented/cracked/haggard/mangled .. Hope it's not my is just crooked .. |

might not have anything bent. the front wheels usually fit about 5-10mm different. it's just the way they are for whatever reason.

deolio is right. the passenger side front tire sticks out about 10mm more on all s13's. the ride height is a different story. you could have a bent lca on one side that allows the tire to tuck a bit more than the other. how are your tophats oriented? if they are not even'ish "with a proper alignment" that might lead me to believe something is bent.

Not 100% on the ride height, I will be taking measurements this weekend. Could it possibly be because my passenger wheel is pushed out a bit more, making it seem like my drivers tucking less? I have tien camber plates, on unknown coils. Will check for bent links aswell ! |

I'm not really sure the technical aspects of it, it could be bushings/control arms (whether they're bent or not)/etc. But I say this from experience.
My rear would never be at the same height. I had to adjust it accordingly with droop to even the ride height on both sides. Also, then again my suspension was really all fucked up, too much droop/not enough preload. It just sucked. So idk, maybe someone can chime in on what I mean. |

your preload should be even. so that shouldn't be a factor. what i meant by the tophats, is where is the monoball in relation to the adjusting slots on the hat? if they are not even it would lead me to believe that something is bent and the alignment shop adjusted the tophat on that side until the camber was even. my driver side lca was bent when i first bought my car. but it wasn't evident until i installed coilovers and got it aligned. when i noteced that my driver side top hat was fully maxed inwards in comparison to the passenger i started looking at the lca's and sure enough..the driver side was bent upwards causing positive camber before it was aligned.

My buddy used to own a 2006 Audi A3. His rear axle had about 10mm of misalignment - officially in range of tolerance....

measure the top of the spring to the top bolt of the bracket that bolts to the knuckle and make sure that is even side-to-side.
then measure the fender-to-ground, and see how much difference there is. -------------------- |

Cool will do man ! If all measurements are even, what would the next step to take be? I was actually considering running a small spacer on my drivers side to atleast make it look even. |
