Ive seen this before, its really helpful. There's another really helpful sticky on SW about rebarrelling wheels..

so for for example does this say that if you want an 8 to fit the same as a 8.5 you would have to go from a -6 to a -12?

yeah. every .5" is a difference of 6mm offset
-------------------- there will always be somebody with a cooler car than you...just dont park next to that person
