the kid i got the car from put in a new suspension to pass inspection. new upper control arms, lower ball joints, tie rod ends, KYB AGX, but he went a little cheap and got the ebay Coilover springs, so he fucked me there, now the car sits higher than oem height and i was trying to see if anyone could help me lower this car, the collars arent all the way down cause the springs are too loose and hit on every little bump. Its a 99 miata , the pics of the car are in a cardomain, http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3358101, the link to rd doesnt require to be a member, just click

it does, the reason you can see it is because you are logged in. i had to log in to see what you linked us too, log out and click on the link and see for yourself.

soo you are saying he bought coilover sleeves? if you want to lower the car and have the pleasure of adjusting it then coilovers are your only choice. if you want slam your car, stance is the one. the tein ones are nice but over priced and you cant really slam your car also to have them re built, youd have to ship em to japan while stance is based in the US.

its hard to understand what you really need but if you want to lower it on coilovers, stance is your bestfriend then.

put the shocks on full soft.

unless you are taking the car off of jumps you shouldnt be unseating the spring

buy stance at your own risk/frustrations

this makes me sad.
they've been high as fuck or someshit.

it comes down to a couple questions;

1. what do you what do you want to do with the car?
2. how important is being slammed?

Tein basics are pretty nice.
I've seen them go pretty damn low, just look on club roadster or something for pics.

if you're thinking of buying basics, stop, wait a few more weeks and get something proper.
