I'm Zach
I'm from Santa Barbara, Ca Heard about you via a Hamburger Loving/ vw enthusiast that's been using this forum forever I drive a recently acquired 1986 mk2 vw golf: diesel. The car was in bad shape so I've been slowly restoring it to glory. I've been working on cars for a while but this is the first time I've gotten to customize my own. I'm very excited to have my own and excited to have a forum on which to receive input and advice.

MK2s are so damn cool, I personally like them even better than MK1s
What Kev said is truth and goes for VWs even more than for any other car. Drop-n-Wheels - nothing else. I figured out a quite nice set up for my buddy's mk2. 16x8 ET8 square on 195/40/16s with a little camber in the rear and factory camber up front maxed out. Should sit roughly flush on rolled/pulled fenders just for reference. -------------------- QUOTE Originally Posted by FunfGang: Run bags if you want, they look cool and are super hip.
