no fucking idea what the shit i got myself into with this 13b, but it's time to get the turbo and standalone thing figured out.

i've read the rotary likes a 1:1 inducer to exducer ratio or some shit like a TO4E 57 trim, GT3776, TO4B 60-1? still not really sure exactly what the fuck i need. the more i read, the more confused i get lol. i just want something that will spool quick and give me 300-350whp.

and then for standalone idk... seems like rx7 people are pretty fond of the apex'i power fc. i've always heard good things about the aem ems. i know it's more expensive, but ehhh i can't tell if it would be worth it or not. i know haltech is overlooked pretty often, but i never really hear anything about it. i'd like to hear you fools' experiences.

do you know how to read a turbo map? you should learn so you dont wast your time on the wrong turbo. once you understand compressor maps you should be able to match up the turbo you want with your needs. you can see in the chart how the turbo spools etc. and you simply match it up to your engine and needs

i found this with a quick google search. im sure you can find a lot more that break it down nice and simple

You should borrow my rotary book. Has a few chapters dealing with turbocharging and various ecu options.

i hear the new AEM standalone series is boss as fuck, thats what henry schelly told me which is the man who will tuning my car. from messing with my standalone which is aem's series 2, its fairly easy as hell to maneuver. you need to know exactly what you have on the car and you basically go around a drop list and check off stuff you have. the ecu does its calibration and you can get a rough idle map going.
